Beauport

This is an area of Quebec City in Canada and located on the St. Lawrence River. This is a historic area and includes interesting churches and homes for tourists to enjoy. One home is the Maison Bellanger-Girardin where visitors can learn some heritage.

Some of the events include the spring arts festival called the Salon de Mai and the summer festival Folklorique des enfant du monde which is an international and children’s festival. If you are into more adventure you can try snowmobiling, horse riding, fishing, snowshoeing and dog sledding at Pourvoirie du Lac-Beauport.

You will also find hiking and bicycle trails, sugar shacks, slides and nautical sports all nearby. If you crave real adventure then try staying a night in the forest in a prospector’s tent or igloo in the winter. This is up and running in both the winter and the summer and is a great way to explore this scenic region.
