Sun Peaks offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, hiking, golfing and mountain biking. There are many restaurants for every taste and for wine drinkers there are festivals. The village is in the centre of three mountains and everything is within walking distance.
Another festival is the Alpine Blossom Festival which offers tours and wildlife walks in summer. Then there is the Autumn Bounty Festival which focuses on the Thompson Okanagan area. For family fun you can take a horse drawn wagon ride through the Sun peaks village. The Sun Peaks Family Cup offers a skating party, awards and even a lasagne dinner and tubing party! The year round Sports Centre has a heated outdoor pool, hot tub and kids wading pool. It also has tennis courts, basketball and a fitness room.
