Some of the major attractions in Smiths Falls are the Canal, Railway and Chocolate Festival. This is three days of family fun that runs along the Rideau Canal waterway in Centennial Park, Smith Falls. It offers visitors live music, historic exhibits, children entertainers, puppet workshops, balloon twisting and much more.
There are artisans and a midway and food. The entry fees are very low. Like pickles? Then visit Pickle fest. It takes place on the shore of the world heritage waterway. You can sample crispy dills, sweet pickles, tomato relish, and salsa or plum butter. You can even bring in your favourite preserve and enter the pickle contest. If you eat the most pickles you get crowned the Pickle King or Queen!
