You can take a reversing falls jet boat, but prepared to get good and wet. It will however be the thrill of a lifetime and it is a huge attraction for tourists and hometown folks. Rockwood Park is scenic and has a trail system and is great for a couples walk. You and your family can fish at Lily Lake. It gets stocked with fresh trout every year so the catch should be good.
They even run a fish derby which is fun for kids. Ice fishing can be had at the Kennebecasis River in January and February off of the Renforth Wharf. For the skiers in the family there is Poley Mountain which is great for all levels and snowboarders. The Irving Nature Park will get you away and there are beaches and trails and plenty of scenery.
