Quesnel

Quesnel is a small city that is part of the Caribou District in British Columbia, Canada. The attractions are numerous even for a small city. It is the region for the World’s Largest Gold Pan! The Riverfront Trail is a place to stroll along the Riverfront Trail. There is an interpretive historic walk along the banks of the Fraser and Quesnel Rivers.

The Circle Tour will provide peaceful and stunning scenery and visitors can read informative plaques along the way. The Pinnacles Provincial Park is famous for its geological formations which are called, “hoodoos”. You can view the community and surrounding areas from this site.

Always wanted to try gold panning? Now you can with a map and find a corner that hasn’t been staked. Then try your hand panning the Quesnel River. There are nearby lakes like the 10 miles lake, Bouchie Lake and Dragon Lake which are all famous for fly fishing and the recreation.
