There are the Skaha Bluffs and the Shaka Lake which are both beautiful tourist destinations. The beaches are numerous with the Okanagan Beach along the north end of the city, Skaha Beach at the south with a park, tennis courts, hockey area, playground, Splash Park and more.
Sudbury beach is very popular for kite surfers and wind surfers. There is even a dog beach! It is a fenced in area where you can take your dogs out and even let the run in the water. Other entertainment includes an Elvis Festival, Peach City Beach Cruise, Peach Festival, Iron Man Triathlon and a Jazz Festival. The wines and wineries in this region are brilliant so you may want to take a wine tour and visit the many wineries.
