Owen Sound

Owen Sound is in Grey County in Ontario, Canada. If you are visiting Owen Sound you can may see the Eddie Sergeant Across the Bay Swim. This is where locals and visitors swim a one, two of four mile course. It is really a challenge for people against waves, temperatures and distance.

Along with that event there is the Emancipation Festival Picnic which is a running event in the Grey and Bruce counties.

You can enjoy music, art, storyboards, award ceremonies, crafts, children’s games, speakers, literature, food and more. The Festival of Northern Lights has thousands of lights strung along the banks of the Sydenham River in Owen Sound. There are weeks of events that include concerts, craft shows, Santa Claus Parade, house tours and more. Then the Harbour Nights Concerts Series runs every Sunday night during the summer and is a free concert for everyone. For the kids there is Harrison Park with swimming, tennis, bird feeding, paddle boats, mini golf and much more.
