The kids can get their pictures taken in the jail. The Fraser River Discovery Centre is named after the great rivers of the world the Fraser River and has an interpretive centre that leans towards education of the environment, cultural and historical importance of the river.
There are many parks and gardens including Queens Park that holds the Rainbow Play land, Children’s Petting Farm, The Summer Sunday Revue, and The Rose Garden. Then there is the Friendship Gardens next to the city hall. It has a waterfall and pond, a totem pole, walking paths and trees, flowers and benches to enjoy them.
