Montebello

This municipality is located in the Papineau Regional County Municipality of Quebec, Canada. The Montebello Chateau is a beautiful place to visit. It is famous for its rugged yet comfortable charm. There are over 40 exciting adventure here including horseback riding, tennis, swimming, cross country skiing, curling, dog sledding, tubing.

There are also hunting and fishing expeditions in the Fairmont Ken auk next to the resort. Another top attraction is the Ballade en Pontoon which is a boat tour that explores the Ottawa River. Another attraction is the Chutes de Plaisance.

It is a waterfall that cascades down more than 200 feet. For golfers there is the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello Club de Golf. This course has some very difficult holes and natural obstacles. It is Quebec’s second hardest course. Of course for skiers there is the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello Ski shop with rentals, lessons and trails. You can also dogsled, skate, snowshoe, snowmobile and inner tube.
