The Monte Creek Provincial Park is very small and there is no camping or day use facility. You can however canoe, kayak and fish in the park. There are trout, white fish and bull trout in this area. However, a license is needed.
A good thing to do in Monte Creek is camping. There is the Heritage Campsite and RV Park with lake views, pull thrus, hook-ups, playground, rock hounding, horseshoes, golf, volleyball, badminton. If you visit St. Peters Memorial Church you can see a piece of history in a memorial for Alexander Hewitt Bo stock a war hero. The churches interior is beautiful with antique fixtures and the bell was imported from England and is over 100 years old!
