This town is located north of Gatineau in Quebec, Canada. This town is a must see for travellers. It includes the municipalities of Egan-Sud, Deleage and the Kitigan-Zibi Anishinabeg which is the First Nations Reserve. There are many attractions here with culture and history.

You can take a walking tour but you need the proper documents. The Parc du Draveur is a sculpture with interpretive panels and is in front of the Information Centre. Then along the Desert River is the Pythonga Theme Park with a tugboat that once towed logs on the Baskatong Reservoir. A major tourist attraction is the Chateau Logue Interpretive Centre.

It contains the Forest Fire Protection Interactive Museum and an art gallery. You can even rent canoe rides from the city and tour along the amazing Desert River.
