You can take a walking tour but you need the proper documents. The Parc du Draveur is a sculpture with interpretive panels and is in front of the Information Centre. Then along the Desert River is the Pythonga Theme Park with a tugboat that once towed logs on the Baskatong Reservoir. A major tourist attraction is the Chateau Logue Interpretive Centre.
It contains the Forest Fire Protection Interactive Museum and an art gallery. You can even rent canoe rides from the city and tour along the amazing Desert River. Some other activities include the Festival of the Live Water of Higher Gatineau, the Winter Snow Rally, The Pakwaun Winter Carnival and the Rally of the Drave.
