There is a lot of Hindu and Muslim culture in this area with food, supermarkets, community centers and more.
The Malton Greenway Trail is great for cycling. This trail runs through quite a few green spaces and it is a great place to view the areas wildlife. Then there is the Mimico Creek with beautiful plants, birds, butterflies and mammals. One of the weirdest tales and objects you may see on a visit to this town is the Malton Flying saucer which was built around 1959. There is definitely a lot of history in Malton and you can visit the first school that was made of logs. Visit the aircraft factory that opened in 1939 and was renamed the Victory Aircraft Company.
