You and your family can enjoy the Fort Whoop- up Interpretive Centre where you can enjoy electronic displays and historical sights and sounds that commemorate the Aboriginal people, pioneers and events that shaped western Canada.
The Galt Museum is an interesting stop with visitors seeing interesting displays of settler life. Discovery Hall is great for kids with hands on exhibits. There is a replica of the High Level Bridge and a virtual plane ride. How about visiting the Indian Battle Park which is 150 acres of the recreation of the battle of the Blackfoot and the Cree. A fabulous garden awaits you at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. It changes through the year and even through the day. The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is in a park like setting in the downtown area. There you can take in a film or concert. Visit the resource library, gallery and gift shop.
