Les Eboulements

Canada tours and signtseeing

This is a village in Quebec, Canada. The name comes from an earthquake that shook the area in 1663 and caused a horrible landslide.

There was also a fatal bus crash in this area. However, apart from these tragedies it is part of the Most Beautiful Villages of the Quebec Association. It has original country heritage and amazing architecture and housing.

There are so many artists that come to settle here just for its beauty. As you can imagine there are a few artists’ galleries including Humberto Pinochet, Poterie et Artisanat Line St-Pierre and Raymond Leclerc. The public gallery is the Les Eboulements Galleries. Here you can see displays, songs, storytelling, legends and more. If you are looking for a place of worship you can visit the Church of Les Eboulements. It was built in the 1930’s and has a relief of the Assumption of Virgin Mary. It is open daily.
