Lake Louise

Lake Louise is located in Alberta, Canada. The scenery here is breathtaking with the Canadian Rockies in the background. There are tours and many activities in the Lake Louise Area. When you take the tour you will see the waterfalls, emerald lakes, alpine meadows and the snowy mountains. Visit the Banff and Jasper National Parks. You have to visit the Columbia Ice field and the Banff Gondola or take a boat tour on the Minnewanka Lake.

Of course there are many opportunities for skiing and even heli-skiing. The Lake Louise Ski Area is in the heart of Banff National Park and unforgettable with four mountain faces and a powder bowl on the mountains backside.

There is also the Lake Louise TELUS Winter Sports School with instructors. Every Friday night there is the Downhill at Dusk Event which is a big ski party. For more excitement and scare you can visit the Bankhead ghost town. Once a thriving coal mine which produced million of tons of coal a year, it is not deserted and desolate.
