This is the largest city on the Lake of Woods. It is located in Ontario, Canada. For visitors there are many exciting things to see and attractions to take in. You can stroll on the waterfront at McLeod Park.
You will probably see “Husky the Muskie” a tug boat along with gardens and the Goodwill Geyser. You will also see the MS Kenora that is located in the harbour front and cruises daily with lunch and dinner service.
This geyser spouts out water every 15 minutes in the summer. This area is also a golfer’s paradise with two 18 hole golf courses, a 10 hole course and a driving range with 4 more holes. For some history you and the family can visit the Lake of the Woods Museum. It collects, preserves, researches and exhibits objects that tell the tale of the community. Then there is the Lake of the Woods Railroad Museum which has a restored caboose.
