The Town of High River is located in Alberta, Canada. Some of the attractions there are their Santa Claus Parade and the Christmas Craft Fair. The fair has 70 vendors and lots of items to choose from. It is a great way to do your holiday shopping. If it is music you want then you can visit the High River and District Lions Music Festival.
The downtown area has a collection of historic murals and you can walk around and see them all. One of the big attractions to the area is the Medicine Tree. It was made through grafting two cottonwood trees when a branch grew into a trunk.
The Blackfoot Indians think it is a sign from the Spirits. Other events include the Little Britches Rodeo held on Victoria Day with horses, marching bands and floats. There are also Chuck wagons Races which last for four days in June.
