This is the 1000 Islands that are located east of Toronto, Ontario. This area is ripe for tourist and visitors. There is the Gananoque Boat Line that is a cruise that shows you the all the islands. You can take a three hour tour and see the Lost Ships of the 1000 Islands and learn their history.
There is the Thousands Islands Playhouse with two modernized venues for comedies, musicals, drama and music. You can take in the Chalk Art Festival showcasing works for all ages. There are painting, drawings and fine art.
If you want a breathtaking view then go see the 1000 Islands Sky deck where you can see the 1000 Islands and the St. Lawrence River. Scuba dive and see the Ontario Shipwrecks and 200 foot granite walls. How about visiting the Boldt Castle. It was erected by Mr. Boldt for his wife Louise. It is a true story of romance.
