Fort Saint John is the largest city in British Columbia, Canada’s northeast region. It is definitely an energetic city that has a large resource or oil, natural gas, forestry and agriculture. There are many European tourist and travellers that come for the hunting and fishing. The city also has some great year round sports.
There are many trails at the Fort St, John Fish Creek Community Forest. You will also see many water birds at Charlie Lake.
In winter you can ski on the trails of the Beatton Provincial Park or just ski the area prairie lands. There is snowmobiling available at the Redfern-Keily Provincial Park. For the history of the region you can visit the Fort St, John North Peace Cultural Centre. For fast fun you can ride on the ATV trails like the Johnson Creek, Gagne Road and the Graham-Laurier Provincial Park. For indoor swimming there is the North Peace Leisure Pool with a sauna, steam room, hot tub, waterslide, wave pool and lap pool.
