This small city is located east of Montreal, Canada. It boasts many outdoor and historic activities. It also hosts some interesting cultural events and venues like the Village Quebecois d’Antan.
It is a heritage town that has costumed staff, restored buildings and they use antiques to show visitors how Drummondville has matured. If you want some local theatre, dance and art then visit the Mondial Des Cultures de Drummondville festival. For a history of photography there is the Popular Photography Museum. It has antique cameras and photo exhibits.
You can also travel to the Union Life Art Gallery and view contemporary and traditional pieces by the regions artists. Take a bike ride along the La Route Verte and take in the atmosphere. Then at the Centre Nautique Kounak you can water ski, swim, and canoe and play volleyball. Of course if you have a sweet tooth you can spend some time at Cabane a sucre Chez Ti-Pere which is a sugar shack offering meals, lashings of syrup, sleigh rides and dancing.
