This town is sandwiched between the Petit-Pre River to the west and the Riviera aux Chiens to the east. The Sault-a-la-puce River offers beautiful waterfalls, canyons, pools and basins all surrounded by greenery. Chateau-Richer is actually one of the first parishes after Quebec and Montreal.

It is a sugar shack where you can see maple products being made and taste some taffy on snow. You should also visit the boulangerie chez Marie.
