There is so much to do in this small town. They have an Ice Climbing Festival held each December. There is a 60 foot manmade ice wall, exhibitor tents, climbing clinics and guest speakers. Then there is a mountain bike race called, “The 24 Hours of Adrenalin”.
This encompasses solo and team riders that compete for the most laps in 24 hrs. If you love skiing there is the Rocky Mountain Ski Challenge which is an annual marathon. You and the family could take in the Rock and Fossil Show. You can even bring your own rocks and fossils to be studied by a geologist. Another event is The Can more Miners Day Reunion which is a free lunch. There are highland games, music festivals and film festivals for all to enjoy.
