Brentwood Bay

 

Brentwood Bay is a village located on the Saanich Inlet which is north of Victoria, British Columbia Canada. This is where the world famous Butchart Gardens is located. The Brentwood Village can offer great accommodations, waterfront restaurants and water sports like kayaking. This is a beautiful village that if full of flowers and a 20 hectare estate.

 

There is also the Butterfly Gardens which is a short trip to Victoria. You can enjoy some wine at the Victoria Estate Winery on the Saanich Peninsula. Fall is a wonderful time when the Saanich Fall Fair is held with prizes, produce, livestock, farm and crafts, live entertainment and a midway.

There is also the Central Saanich Days celebration held in Centennial Park on the BC Day Weekend. If you want to try some diving there is reef in the inlet that can provide your needs. There are many parks to visit including Gowlland Tod Provincial Park that is home to deer, cougars, bears and 100 species of birds. There are also some rare plants and a backyard wilderness that has eagles, ospreys’, minks, river otters and killer whales.
