Brampton

This is the third largest city in the Greater Toronto area in Ontario, Canada.

It was once known as the Flower town of Canada because of its large greenhouse industry. For tourists there is the Rose Theatre which is called the cultural and tourist destination that will boost surrounding restaurants, shops and services.

One of the nicest parks to visit in Brampton is the Chinguacousy Park where you can downhill ski and skate on the pond. In the summer there is baseball and soccer games and the Terry Fox Track and Field Centre for competing high schools. The park also hosts Canada Day fireworks and a carnival. You can also visit Mount Chinguacousy which is a man made ski hill. There are two runs, a rope tow and a T-bar. It is a wonderful place for kids to learn. You may want to visit the historic Boviard House with historic furniture and different events as well as gift items and a tea room.
