Visitors can enjoy hot springs, outdoor sports like hiking, biking, skiing and more. Attractions in the region include the Banff Indian Days and the Banff Winter Carnival. One of the best things to do in Banff is ride on the Gondola and see the mountains through a bird’s eye view.
There is a giant compass at the top of the summit where you can find out the direction to your home and other cities in the world. If you would rather fly over the mountains you can take a helicopter flight. The Columbia Ice field is located between Banff and Jasper and has one of the largest amounts of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle. There is also a tour in the Ice field Centre. |
