Airdrie

Airdrie is a town located in Alberta, Canada. It is north of Calgary and set on highway 2 also known as the Queen Elizabeth highway. Once a railway town it is now booming with many younger families. Airdrie has some great attractions for tourists like the Nose Creek Valley Museum where you can learn about early prairie life.

If you want to see a performance while in town then the Bert Church Theatre has musical and theatrical performances.

During the holiday season the big draw is the Festival of Lights. Of course in these parts rodeos are huge so you can take in the Airdrie Pro Rodeo for some exciting fun. If you want to get outside then you can visit the Nose Creek Park which is in the center of Airdrie.

There is a pond with a fountain and some viewing platforms. You can also walk and several pathways some of which cross the creek in different places.
